What is Rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition, (mainly facial), which is usually characterised by its red rash, persistence and recurrence.
Its onset is usually at the age of 30, and it appears as redness on the cheeks, the nose, the chin, and the forehead, which may be present even at times before its remission. As time goes by, the redness becomes more intense and it is accompanied by telangiectasia (spider veins). Although rosacea may affect anyone, people with light skin colour are more vulnerable, especially, women between the ages of 30 and 50 because they tend to blush more easily. Men seem to be affected by the condition more severely.
